According to "Theatre Ephemera" the purpose is to mainly focus on the theater's history prior to 1900. "Theatre Ephemera" carries information about people, ephemera and theaters. There are also sources for research (I have not check them) and links to online theater images. It's a little site, so there aren't tons of stuff, but they do have nice items.
