Carnival Festival

A Dutch site site from "Carnaval Festival". I don't speak Dutch, but you can read about it in Wikipedia. According to it "It's a dark ride in amusement park Efteling in the Netherland. It was designed by Joop Geesink and opened its doors in 1984" Click on "Vroeger en nu" to see the pictures. It is sure looks similar in a way to "It's a Small World" in Disneyland.

From Wikipedia. If you do not know Dutch, I recommend you to read the info in Wikipedia. It's hard to understand what's going on just by looking at the Carniaval's site.

You can take a cyber trip to the Carnaval Fesival in YouTube. There are several videos. Most of them were blurred or made me dizzy. These were the best that I could find

Feisty Cars

Cars that were "refurbished" and "customized" by art car artists. Plenty of cool and strange pictures. The coolest cars are under "Art Car Index". I wonder if they drive these things in a rainy day. You'd need a farm for to park some of these. There are cool ones, but not sure I'd want to drive around with an artistic car. Too much attention... But heck, nobody gonna steal a car like that! I wonder, why would anyone take a car that is relatively new, and transform it to an art car? I used to think only old or junk cars were like this. Some of them are even classic. Evidently, I was wrong.

Watcha' Gonna Do?

A NYC old police cars gallery from PDNYC site. These are pictures of very old cars and motorcycles that you see in old movies like American Graffiti. I wish I could see those cars in person. I like the ones from 1939.

Halloween Dogs

I am into dressing up the dogs. I've seen some of these pictures around before, but I have to admit, some of these dogs did make me chuckle again. The chihuahua vampire in particular cracked me up.
