I hope I didn't post it already. I was pretty sure I have. Been looking for it, but am not seeing it anywhere. Anyhow, the topic pretty much speaks for itself.

What Is The Longest Story in The World?
Several years ago I was reading some African folklore, and came across this site. I enjoyed the story quite a bit, that I bookmarked it. I read it a couple of times since then.
No worry, this isn't an epic story. No need to set up a timer. ;-) There are other folklore as well. I did not like some of them, because they were depressing. But the "The Longest Story in the World" is kinda funny. It might even make you chuckle or bring a smile to your face.

A Little Fella Named Paddington Bear
I totally forgot that Paddington Bear turns 50 this month! When I was a kid I used to watch him on tv. I remember his books too. He was just too adorable little bear ;-)

Most of the photos show the bear at the Paddington Station on his way to the children's literature event at Buckingham Palace on June 23, 2006. It was also the Queen's 80th Birthday.

The Wheels On The Bus Go Round And Round
It was nice to see busses that no longer are on the road. There are lot of pictures of old busses here. Most of the busses here are from the 1960's and the 1970's

In case you are wondering or can't remember, the title of this post is from a children song called "The Wheels On The Bus".

Artist: Robert Holton
Robert Holton is a wonderful pop culture artist. I love his artwork. My favorite paintings were definitely the cereals and the choo choo train above. The paintings probably look much better in person than on the internet. Holton uses mixed media on stretched canvas. It is Robert Holton's official website. You probably noticed, there are a few painting on the main page. But to see more go to the "shop" section. There are 94 artwork at display with the option to enlarge each piece.

Geez, More Useless Information
The Useless Information's self description is "stuff you never needed to know but your life would be incomplete without". There are a lot of interesting items indeed. Well, most of the info is useless, but can't say I didn't learn a thing.
Some examples: Did you know that the Aspirin is part of the 'Treaty of Versailles'? Did you know that the original name for Q-tips was "Baby Gays" (bear in mind that it was the 1920's). Then in 1926 the inventor changed it to Q-Tips Baby Gays. Find out what the Q stands for.
